IBFD Library Preservation Activities : Book Restoration & UvA Collaboration
This autumn, we are excited to announce a new collaboration with the University of Amsterdam’s (UvA) Conservation and Restoration master’s programme, specialising in Book and Paper. A small group of students from this programme will be working on restoring some of the most fragile treasures from our Bookwall collection. This partnership will allow us to preserve important pieces of our 19th-century collection while offering the students practical experience in conservation. This project is part of our digitisation efforts with the open digital archives,
Library Treasures.
